IQ Motion Control recently released the Vertiq 6806, the first commercial-grade drone and robotics motor module in its class. Similar to IQ’s flagship product, the Vertiq 6806 is an integrated motor and controller with an embedded position sensor.  With IQ’s unique hardware design and proprietary software, the motor is designed to maximize torque output, efficiency and precision while minimizing motor cost, vibration and footprint.

AlphaThera has been even busier than usual these past months. The Pennovation Center company was recently awarded an NIH grant for $667,000 to evolve their existing antibody labeling reagents, to battle the pandemic.  Dr.  Andrew Tsourkas, AlphaThera’s Founder, is also a Professor of Bioengineering at Penn.

The 2020 PACT Capital Conference was held during hour-long virtual sessions over several weeks beginning August 18th and ended September 24th with the Lion’s Den Finale.  The conference has a long tradition of uniting key players from the private equity, venture capital, and entrepreneurial communities.  

In the year InstaHub occupied an inventor garage at the Pennovation Center,  they facilitated over 20 internships, conceptualized an addition to their product line, and launched an initiative to support first-line responders with 3-D printed PPE during the onset of the pandemic.
