PCI Ventures
PCI Ventures (PCIV) is a division of Penn Center for Innovation (PCI) that supports the creation of early-stage businesses founded on Penn technology. As Penn's commercialization and venture development group, PCIV produces and hosts a robust series of programs, training meetings, and events each month. Pennovation and PCIV collaborate to provide technical assistance office hours for Pennovation members, the Entrepreneurial Engagement Series, and an annual Founder Showcase. Pennovation members can access diverse mentor programming such as mentor-matching with subject matter experts and office hours with Penn’s commercialization and ventures team. Pennovation also partners with Ben Franklin Technology Partners and Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT) to offer access to the Mentor Connect program. The program is tailored to the unique needs of each entrepreneur and their venture.

The annual Pennovation Summer Accelerator selects a cohort of talented startups to engage in a six-week program to develop their business strategy and cultivate their network. Cohort companies participate in weekly educational sessions presented by subject matter experts. Each company is paired with an experienced mentor to advise them on their journey. In addition, curated networking opportunities help companies make connections into the larger Philadelphia entrepreneurial community. The Pennovation Accelerator culminates with Pitch Day and prizes valued at over $10,000. Learn more.
