Project Medtech is a weekly podcast hosted by Duane Mancini. The Small Business Administration (SBA), opened the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan portal to all participating PPP lenders on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, to submit First and Second Draw loan applications.
On Wednesday, January 20th Ron Iorii, of Citizens Bank, hosted an intimate PPP information session for Pennovation Works members and PCI Ventures portfolio companies. Ron shared details about the second round of PPP loans, he explained how the second round differed from the first, talked through the next-steps, and answered some questions from participants.

On December 15, 2020, The Penn Vet Working Dog Center celebrated the Law Enforcement K9 Patrol Training Program graduation of their four canine students.
The year-long intensive program put to test the knowledge, abilities, and skills of the dogs and their corresponding officers from a range of regional police units. The program is coordinated by Retired Cheltenham Township Police Officer Robert "Doc" Dougherty.

The University of Pennsylvania’s Division of Facilities and Real Estate Services has announced that Cocoa Press, creators of a 3D chocolate printer that produces custom chocolate creations, has expanded their leased space at the Inventor Office Building, a recently restored office space within the Pennovation Works development that allows startups and innovators to expand their footprint and grow their businesses.
