Mid Atlantic Pharmacology Society's Annual Meeting [event recap]

The Mid Atlantic Pharmacology Society chose the Pennovation Center their 2018 Annual Meeting on Thursday, September 27th. Organized in part by Kyle Palmer, CSO of Opertech Bio and a proud Pennovation member, this year's Annual Meeting focused on research surrounding opioids and analgesics. The day kicked off with an engaging poster session from students and researchers from Philadelphia and the surrounding region, and was followed by an afternoon of dynamic speakers and informative panels.

Startup Grind with Brett Topche [event recap]

One of 1776's most popular programs, Startup Grind, made its debut at the Pennovation Center on September 20th with a fireside chat between Anthony Maher, Chief Innovation and Growth Office for 1776, and Brett Topche, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Red & Blue Ventures. Brett has spent much of his career primarily focusing on investments in ecommerce, digital media, mobile applications, marketing technologies and B2B software.
