PCIV 6th Annual Showcase [event recap]

On September 13th, Penn Center for Innovation Ventures hosted their 6th Annual Showcase to celebrate the incredible work they do with early stage companies. PCIV's portfolio companies and Pennovation members had the chance to present their work in a networking poster session that introduced members of the innovation community to these cutting edge teams. An engaging keynote from Dr. Nicole Lipkin on mental agility followed updates from Michael Poisel and Dr. Michael Borda about PCIV and the Pennovation mission. Dr. Dora Mitchell, VP of Operations for Carisma Therapeutics, also shared Carisma's spin out journey as a PCIV portfolio company. "The PCIV Annual Showcase gives our team a chance to step back from our day-to-day work and admire the progress made by our companies throughout the year. This year was extra special with the addition of Pennovation companies and it was really rewarding to see the companies share their work, meet with fellow entrepreneurs and network with our PCIV partners," shared Jaime Sweet, PCIV Programming Manager.
