Penn Data Center
In order to service the University’s needs, a Tier 1 data center was created on the first floor of the Pennovation Center. The 2,500 sq. ft. facility hosts up to 40 racks of computing equipment. It has a 250KVA power capacity and will accommodate high performance computing of up to 14KW/rack. The initial launch in fall of 2013 provided much needed capacity of SEAS research computing as well as expansion space for ISC and others across campus.
