On Sunday, April 23, 2017, the Pennovation Center and PERCH will host a Philadelphia Science Festival Event called Be A Pennovator!

Be A Pennovator! is part of the Be A Scientist For a Day! program of events where adults and children alike can learn what it is like to be a scientist. The University of Pennsylvania is a core collaborator of the Philadelphia Science Festival, a 9 day festival held April 21-29, in partnership with the Franklin Institute.

FemmeHacks 2017

FemmeHacks is a beginner friendly collegiate hackathon for women-identifying individuals, hosted by our very own WiCS! Our goal is to empower, educate, and inspire women in the Philly tech community to build cool apps and meet one another. We will have both beginner and intermediate workshops on Friday at SEAS. On Saturday, hacking will be held at the brand new Pennovation Center (transportation provided)! There will be super awesome tech companies like Google, Facebook, and Jane Street at the hackathon who will bring mentors to answer any questions you have!
