When Innovation Meets Capital

There’s no shortage of talented entrepreneurs, researchers, and tinkerers within the University of Pennsylvania community. But in order to accelerate the commercialization of their ideas, it requires capital and the right strategic partners.

Listen to Safeguard Scientifics' Chief Technology and Innovation Officer Scott Snyder, PhD., as he outlines transformative technologies receiving the attention of venture capitalists in 2017. On the opposite side of the table will be COSY Founder and CEO Jonas Cleveland, whose robotics startup is re-writing the rules of automation. The company recently secured $2.2 million in capital from several investors.

The two, along with Osage Venture Partners' Managing Director Nate Lentz, will discuss what happens when innovation meets capital.
