Pennovation Works partnered with Philly AI Connect, a community dedicated to advancing AI and ML technology and its sophistication of use in and beyond the city of Philadelphia, and the Future of Higher Ed, a global community for founders and practitioners focused on the future of postsecondary education & training, to host "AI + The Future of Education" at Pennovation Center.
The event brought together a diverse group of educators, technologists, entrepreneurs, and students to engage in meaningful conversations and exchange innovative ideas. Attendees gained insights into the latest developments in AI that are reshaping learning environments, ethical considerations, and the vital partnerships that support educators navigating this new landscape.
Over 200 people listened to thought-provoking panels with speakers from Penn, Drexel, and Temple, and industry professionals from Microsoft and Middle States Association (MSA).
Panel discussions included topics ranging from legal & ethical AI in classrooms, compliance and regulatory frameworks affecting AI usage in education. and examining the role of AI in student assessment and feedback mechanisms.
