Penn Vet Working Dog Netflix Premiere (Event Recap)

Penn Vet Working Dog Center (PVWDC) hosted a viewing party at the Pennovation Center on Saturday, September 21st, for the Netflix documentary Inside the Mind of a Dog featuring PVWDC Executive Director Dr. Cindy Otto and her team.

Over 100 friends, dog foster parents, and dog lovers watched the documentary, participated in a Q&A discussion, and then split into groups to view four research and training demonstrations. 

The demonstrations included: 

• Search and Rescue 
• Agility
• Law Enforcement – Apprehension and Vehicle Searches
• Research / Scent Detection

There was even a special appearance by the newest puppy-in-training, Penny!
