National Cancer Institute’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Visit

On Thursday September 26th Pennovation Works, PCI, and PCI Ventures were pleased to host the National Cancer Institute’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs for both a presentation and office hours at The Pennovation Center.

Presenters Monique Pond, PhD, Team Leader & Program Director, NCI SBIR Development Center and Jordan Robbins, Program Analyst, NCI SBIR Development Center discussed funding opportunities for early-stage start-ups, academic spinout companies, and entrepreneurs, tips for writing competitive SBIR/STTR grant proposals, and commercialization resources for applicants and awardees.
