February is Tax Series Month at Pennovation Works!

It's almost tax time and we're bringing Tax Tip Tuesdays back during the month of February! Find out if you qualify for the Keystone Innovation Zone (KIZ) Tax Credit Program, strategize year-end tax planning, and learn about tax law updates that could affect your business.

On Tuesday, February 11th from 12 - 1pm, we're hosting a lunch and learn at the Pennovation Center and will be joined by:

Jennifer Leinbach, Executive Director at the PA DCED in the Office of Technology Investment

Tara Santore, Director at the Innovation Development Zones office for the PA Dept of Community and Economic Development

Kristin Hart, University City KIZ Coordinator

Anne Fabry, MVM Associates/Bowers R&D

During this one-hour round table discussion, founders will learn about the KIZ program, determine if they are eligible to participate and review the application process. We'll also discuss ways startups can sell their tax credits and other R&D incentives for which they may qualify. (Lunch will be served)

On Tuesday, February 18th from 12 -1pm, John Pennett, Partner-in-Charge of the National Technology and Life Sciences Group at EisnerAmper, will offer strategy tips for year-end tax planning. During this live webinar, John will answer founders questions and give an overview of tax law updates that could impact entrepreneurs heading into this tax season.
